Mumbai, Jun 22 : It's celebration time for Bachchan and Rai family, as the former Miss World is expecting a baby now. This is not rumour like in Shilpa Shetty's case. The news has been confirmed by the former beauty queen's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan.

"I am extremly thrilled and, feel so happy. It's true, Ash is pregnant and we are all set to welcome the new member to our family," said Big B.

It is common that once a celebrity gets married, rumours start making the rounds about her pregnancy. It is a hot issue for media too. Recently, rumours of Shilpa Shetty's pregnancy were circulated around the world and Shipa's fans were curious to confirm the news. But Shilpa herself denied the rumours.

Similarly, rumours about Aishwarya too started making rounds soon after their marriage in 2007, and whenever Aishwarya was seen gaining weight, gossip mills began to work.
