Mumbai, Sep 24 (IANS) Director R. Balakrishna's eagerly-awaited role-reversal drama "Paa", which has Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, has been postponed by a month to avert a clash with the other Big B starrer "Teen Patti".
Apparently Big B personally requested the producers of "Teen Patti" to not allow it to clash with "Paa", which will now hit the screens Dec 4.
"We were supposed to release on November 13. But that was only two weeks after another Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Aladin'. And we couldn't ask 'Aladin' to shift. They've gone through too many delays," Balki told IANS before leaving for patchwork shooting in Lucknow Tuesday.
Also starring Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan, "Paa" is about a child within a man and a man within a child and the director wanted to release it Nov 13 as a tribute to Children's Day.
"Though 'Paa' is set in Lucknow, this is the first time I'm visiting the city in my entire life," added Balki.
